Southern Tier Dinner To Honor Victims Of The Titanic

John Pulos is the owner of a Bed and Breakfast in Montour Falls, New York, in the Watkins Glen area. He'll be doing something a little different for his guests on April 14th this year, though. He's hosting an 8-course meal that's identical to the last meal served on Titanic, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the ship. Pulos says "the dinner will start with shrimp served in the hallway while violin music is being played. Then, just like they did on the ship, at 6:45, the doors to the ballroom will open. A bell will ring, and the passengers will go into the ballroom and there will be a small program to start the dinner. Then the barley soup will be served, followed by six other courses. That is how they ate in Titanic." There's a salamon course, a chicken course, with roast beef and eclaires for dessert. The cost is 99-dollars a plate.
