05.22.09 | FL News Team

A Lancaster County soldier serving in war-torn Iraq is seeking school supplies for students in that country. Sergeant Peter Guzman works as a medic, and says schools in the village of Taji do not have enough supplies.

Guzman says students lack pens, pencils, paper, glue, and other essentials. The soldier has taken it upon himself to write letters to several U.S. schools asking for contributions. If you would like to help out, please e-mail Sergeant Guzman at .
