He died 93 years ago, but finally Army Private Henry Weikel was laid to rest Thursday at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. A civilian biker group carried American flags in his honor. Soldiers stood and wept during the outdoor service. Weikel was from Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. He was killed in September 1918 in a battle against German soldiers in eastern France. His body was found in 2006 by people hunting for metal. Weikel is believed to be the longest missing American vet... ever... to be found.
