Side By Side Comparison Of Nys Reproductive Health Act And Roe V Wade

One of the up-and-coming bills in the New York State legislature the Family Life newsroom is keeping its eye on is the Repdroductive Health Act, which would expand abortion in the Empire State. Now, there's a new tool to help you understand the bill. The group "New Yorkers For Life" has put together a side-by-side chart that shows the Empire State's proposed Reproductive Health Act, and the original Roe Versus Wade legislation.
Governor Andrew Cuomo has argued the bill would simply codify laws that are already in place under federal law. But this chart shows it's actually quite an expansion from existing New York laws.
