(Washington, DC)  --  Republicans are ripping President Obama's 2012 budget proposal.  Obama submitted the more than $3.7-trillion blueprint to the House and Senate.  Wisconsin Republican Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee, said the President's numbers don't add up to fiscal sanity. Alabama's Jeff Sessions, the top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, said the President's plan does nothing to change the fact that the U.S. is on an "unsustainable path."

Mr. Obama's budget blueprint aims to cut the federal deficit by $1.1-trillion over 10-years.  The federal deficit is expected to hit about $1-trillion this year.  The U.S. debt is hovering around $14-trillion.
