After over two-and-a-half months without a finalized state budget, Governor Ed Rendell has come to terms with state lawmakers. The governor announced Friday night that, quote, "With a great deal of satisfaction, we have a budget agreement." Although the plan isn't one Rendell would write himself, he called the compromise good for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The big announcement also included an apology from Rendell who said he's sorry for any inconvenience caused by the budget impasse. The plan must be signed off by the General Assembly before heading back to the governor's desk.
