When the President celebrates his second inauguration in a week and a half, he'll be doing it with some upstate New York fare. President Obama will enjoy upstate wine and food, including Reisling from three local vineyards, on January 21st. The menu will include wine from Red Newt Cellars in Schuyler County, Yates County Vineyards, Anthony Road Winery, and Fox Run Winery; cheese from Cooperstown, honey from Rochester, apples from Columbia County for apple pie, and mple syrup from Duchess County. New York Senator Chuck Schumer is the chairman of the committee heading up inaugural ceremonies, and he picked the menu.
