Postal Service Publishes Deadlines To Send Troops Holiday Mail

The U.S. Postal Service has announced the deadlines to send mail to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan for the holidays. The USPS says packages should be mailed by December 4th in order to arrive in time for Christmas and mail going to other military overseas APO/FPO locations needs to be sent by December 11th. Except for that mail headed to Iraq and Afghanistan, Express Mail should also be in the mail by December 18th for Christmas delivery. Regular mail, holiday cards, letters and packages going to U.S. destinations should be sent by December 21st and Express Mail packages by December 23rd.
