A former wife of a polygamist sect leader who's serving a life sentence is breaking ties with the group she followed. One of Warren Jeffs' wives is being protected by Washington County, Utah  sheriff deputies after leaving the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints Church and Jeffs.  Authorities say they were called to keep the peace in the town of Hildale, Utah after the 25-year-old woman made clear that she wanted to leave the community. She had sought refuge at the home of ex-FLDS spokesman Willie Jessop and is now believed to be staying at a shelter. Jeffs, the leader of the FLDS church, was recently convicted in Texas of child sex assault and is serving life in prison.
