Student loan debt hit a record high 27-thousand dollars per graduate, a study out this week showed. And apparently, Pennsylvania has the second highest student debt load in the nation. Keystone state students left campus with 29-thousand-959 dollars in loans, or 15 percent more then the national average. College Access Institute's Vice president in Philadelphia, Pauline Abernathy, says sticker prices in P.A. are higher for college then the national average, and Pennsylvania students tend to receive less financial aid then in other states. The three colleges where students leave with the most debt in PA are Temple University, Penn State, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
