Prosecutors have dropped criminal charges against the lone remaining Republican accused in a public corruption investigation that targeted the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

The State Attorney General's office withdrew the charges against former aide John Zimmerman. He'd been charged along with nine others over the use of public money to fund campaign work. The nine others, including former Speaker John Perzel have pled guilty or were convicted.

Fifteen people connected to the house democratic caucus have been charged, including former speaker Bill Deweese.
