Tim Pawlenty is running for President. His bid came over the internet via a recorded address, and was a day earlier then analysts had predicted. He'll make his first campaign stop in Iowa today. Meanwhile, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels announced early Sunday morning he is not running. He, too, made the announcement online-- via e-mail-- to supporters early Sunday morning. He said: "in the end, I was able to resolve every competing consideration but one, the interests and wishes of my family-- and it's the most important consideration of all. If I have disappointed you, I will always be sorry."  Some speculate Daniels could still land on the GOP ticket as a running mate.
