At 8 o'clock this morning, county clerk offices across Pennsylvania will start legally issuing same sex marriage licenses for the first time. This, after a federal judge struck the state's ban on gay marriage down Tuesday afternoon.
Rallies in support of the decision were held all across the state last night, including on the steps of the State Capitol.  Attorney General Kathleen Kane says that the Constitution has prevailed in Pennsylvania, but those in support of traditional marriage say marriage should not be redefined by the governement, and that the judge's ruling wasn't constitutional.
Governor Tom Corbett has not yet said if he'll appeal the case.
