Pas 14 State Owned Universities May Allow Guns On Campus

The Board of Governors of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education is mulling over a policy that would allow students at the 14 state-owned universities to carry concealed firearms in certain places. Under the policy, firearms would not be allowed at sporting events or inside recreational buildings, classrooms, dorms, dining halls or student union centers. The state is still going through the public opinion process, but a decision on the policy could come as early as January. If accepted, the concealed firearms policy on university campuses would go into effect next fall.
