Pa To Vote On Tracking Your Prescription Drugs

A Pennsylvania lawmaker wants to help identify addicts of prescription drug abuse with a database that would track the use of medications. House Bill 1651 will come up before the state house next month. If approved, it would add Pennsylvania to the 35 states that track and monitor prescription drug abuse. It would also make all of a patient's drug history available to physicians and pharmacists. Drug addiction has reached an all-time high in America, with two in three fatal overdoses because of prescription drugs.
