Pa Gubernatorial Race Heats Up

Polls show the Democratic nomination race for Pennsylvania has been lead by Tom Wolf for more than a month, but that's likely to change in the six weeks left until the May 20th primary.
With about half the Democratic voters undecided, Wolf is backed by one-third of those who have made up their minds while support for Allyson Schwartz, Rob McCord and Katie McGinty is in the single digits. Wolf's opponents, all from the Philadelphia suburbs, are vowing to step up their game in the closing weeks in hope of catching up with - or overtaking - the front-runner.
Meanwhile, despite low statewide poll approval, Gov. Tom Corbett won a straw poll of Pennsylvania’s most conservative activists by a landslide. Corbett won support from 84 percent of participants at the 2014 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, an annual gathering of commonwealth grassroots conservatives. The results were released Saturday afternoon.
