Agriculture officials say the lack of rain is hurting crops and the weather makes cows so uncomfortable that they are not producing as much milk.  Local dairy experts estimate that production is off anywhere from 3 to 15 percent.  Dairy officials say this could cause prices on milk, cheese and yogurt to increase as soon as next month.  A spokesman for the Cornell Cooperative Extension says consumers must brace for a significant spike in grocery items as a result of the worst drought to hit the country in 25 years.
