It's not even November, but the Reverand Franklin Graham it's already time to pack gifts to send overseas for Operation Christmas Child. Franklin told KTIS Radio "this year, we'll collect about 9-million shoeboxes, distributed in over 100 countries. That's 9-million children that we're going to be able to touch their lives. It's not just the children, it's the mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers-- it could be 20 or 30 million people." The shoeboxes will be collected a month from now. Graham said "pray over each box. Pray over the things inside, pray for the child that gets that box, that it communicates the true meaning of Christmas to children and their families. This is a great way to sow seed all across the world." Operation Christmas Child doesn't just stop with giving the boxes, they also have a discipleship program called "The Greatest Journey", which has already reached 2-million children.
