Opening arguments get underway today in the trial of Dawn Nguyen, the Western New York woman charged with supplying the fire-power for the deadly Christmas Eve shooting in Webster, two years ago.
If convicted, Nguyen faces up to four years in prison for supplying the guns used to kill two west Webster fire-fighters and wound two others on December 24th 2012.The first responders were shot by William Spengler Jr. after he set fire to his sisters house.    Prosecutors say Nguyen lied to authorities about purchasing the weapons.  Because Spengler already had a criminal record, he was not allowed to buy firearms himself. He killed himself after shooting the fire-fighters.
