Ohio Mounting Challenge To Roe Vs Wade

Ohio lawmakers are mounting a challenge to Roe v. Wade.  The Ohio House voted yesterday to ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected.  The measure now goes to the Republican-controlled state Senate.  If approved there and signed into law, the legislation would act as a challenge to the U.S. Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

The legislature approved a massive health care bill on Monday -- and a few lines in that bill yank taxpayer cash from the nation's largest abortion provider. Earler this week, Wisconsin became the 4th state to cut funding from Planned Parenthood.
