Nys Highest Court To Rule On Porn As An Art Form

New York's highest court is deciding whether porn is protecting art and worthy of a tax exemption. In a case that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago, the adult entertainment industry says it doesn't peddle porn, it peddles art and it shouldn't have to pay taxes. The case is being argued in court today. An Albany-Area strip club is contesting a tax bil lof nearly 125-thousand dollars. "Nite Moves" claims its dancers engage in live dramatic, musical art performances and should recieve that same tax exemptions that apply to theatres or ballet. The court should issue its ruling in about a month.
