Jewish School Shooting

New York City authorities are adding extra security around Jewish schools and other institutions following a shooting at a Jewish school in France.  NYPD officials say while there is no specific threat to Jewish schools, businesses or other buildings in New York City, they are being extra cautious over concerns about possible copycat attacks.  Police officials say stepped up patrols are in place in Jewish neighborhoods, and in front of Jewish schools and community centers.  The moves come after a gunman opened fire at a religious school in southwestern France today, killing three Jewish children and a rabbi.  Police in France believe today's attack is linked to recent deadly shootings of French soldiers in the area.
