The State Budget is almost finished, New York lawmakers say. They were up late into the night Monday night, and have a meeting slated with the Governor this morning. Here are the details of what we've learned so far: to get 700 million dollars in tax breaks for businesses and families-- Republicans agreed to a minimum wage hike over the next three years-- eventually ending up at 9 dollars an hour. The first hike would be to 8 dollars an hour in 2014. Specifics are still being hashed out, but it's possible we could see the final budget later today.
