New York has been waiting on a report by three outside experts to move forward on whether or not to allow high volume hydrofracking. Apparently, their report has been done for over a month. Those were details the State Health Department didn't reveal during a lengthy testimony before lawmakers at the end of January. Researchers findings were wrapped up 6 and 8 weeks ago. The state department has until February 27th to finish their review, or the whole process starts again. Meanwhile, a statewide group of landowners called the "Joint Landowners Coalition" says it is already laying the framework to sue the state of New York if it delays the drilling decision again.
