There are five candidates vying for the chairmanship of the Republican National Committee. But a 53-year-old Buffalo resident is at the top of the list. Maria Cino said if current Chairman Michael Steele doesn't win re-election, and it goes to a several-ballot contest-- she will likely win the post on January 14th. Cino says she's been groomed for the job most of her adult life. She was New York Congressman Bill Paxon's Chief of Staff, she was Chief Executive of the 2008 Republican National Convention-- and has been the R.N.C.'s Deputy Chairwoman.
