NASA's newest rocket has completed the four mile journey to its launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center. The Ares 1-X was moved to the seaside launch complex ahead of its planned liftoff next week. The 327-foot-tall, one-point-eight-million-pound rocket is currently the largest in the world and the tallest rocket NASA has launched since the Apollo missions. The Ares 1-X is an experimental rocket NASA is developing to eventually take people back to the moon but the whole program is currently under review by the Obama administration and could be scrubbed. Liftoff for the Ares 1-X is currently set for next Tuesday morning.
