More Republican Presidential Candidates Refuse The Marriage Vow

Former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty and Georgia businessman Herman Cain are the latest candidates to reject the so-called "marriage vow" penned by the Iowa conservative group Family Leader. The group has asked every Republican presidential candidate to sign the vow, defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman. Yesterday, Mitt Romney also said that he would not sign the bill. Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum have already signed the measure.

Meanwhile, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin says she'll announce her plans for the 2012 presidential election in late August or early September. She says she could see herself beating President Obama, but couldn't see herself campaigning for any of the current Republican candidates.
