More Ny Politicians To Be Accused Of Corruption Today

There are another 6 elected officials under investigation in New York state. It's all linked to the case of ex-senator Shirley Huntley, who wore a wire and recorded conversations for police while they were investigating political corruption in Albany. The names of the people she spoke with will be unsealed at 2 p.m. today by a U.S. District judge. There is the possibility the U.S. Attorney's office may appeal the decision and buy some more time. It's yet another black eye for Albany. Earlier this week, Senator John Sampson was arraigned on federal embezzlement charges. In April, Senator Malcolm Smith and Assemblyman Eric Stevenson were hit with bribery charges. And last Friday, Brooklyn Assemblyman William Boyland -- who was already facing corruption charges -- was charged with using non-profit funds for personal gain.
