Mayor Bloomberg Accused Of Buying Key Votes

The lone democratic senator in New York who voted against legalizing gay marriage is accusing New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg of buying the votes of key senators who made that legislation possible. Senator Ruben Diaz says the billionaire mayor gave more than $10,000 to each of the campaigns of key senators who supported same-sex marriage. What's even more suprising, is a Bloomberg spokesman confirmed it on Thursday. He said the mayor had contributed the money to republican senators Jim Alesi, Mark Grisanti of Buffalo, Roy McDonald and Stephen Saland. Diaz thinks the attorney general should investigate.
