Marrying Age Reaches All Time High More Kids Born Out Of Wedlock

Nearly half of all first births in America are out of wedlock, according to a new report called "Knot Yet: the Benefits and Costs of a Delayed Marriage in America," released by the National Marriage Project. Women are marrying at age 27 on average, men, age 29, but their first birth is 25 and 26, respectively.It means that the age at which men and women marry in America is now at historic heights, and a as a result, children born out of wedlock has also increased. 48 percent of all first time births are happening outside of marriage.
