A new report reveals more then half of the interstate natural gas pipeline projects proposed by the federal government. More then half involved the state of Pennsylvania. According to Colorado-based Bentek Energy, these pipelines are capable of producing 4-billion cubic feet of natural gas a day, one third of the average daily demand for energy in the northeastern United States. One of the largest projects, a 7-hundred-million-dollar expansion of a Tennessee Company's gasline is already under construction. It employes 21-hundred workers and involves 127 miles of 30-inch pipeline through Northern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York and on into New Jersey.
