A desperate search is happening on one of the world's tallest mountains today, in Nepal, for survivors of an avalanche that swept an entire camp-- 25 tents-- away last night. At least nine people are dead and six are missing. 21 people survived the avalanche. One of the survivors was a Christian American who was already awake. We're told it was his Bible study that may have saved his life. Famed U.S. Skier Glen Plake was in Camp 3 when the avalanche struck at 22-thousand-960 feet. His family says "at about 4:45, he was reading his Bible, reading his daily devotional, and they heard a sound. Greg said 'did you hear that wind'? Then immediately he said 'no! That's an avalanche!' The avalanche swept him about 300 meters down the mountain. He is expected to live.
