Kids And Screen Time Obesity Link

Children who spend lots of time in front of screens, especially TVs, tend to gain more weight as they age. The findings are consistent with research suggesting that idle sitting and exposure to advertisements may fuel poor eating habits.  Scientists at the Harvard School of public health studied nearly 10 thousand boys and girls ages 9 to 16.  They’ve discovered a link between the amount of screen time children are exposed to and their body mass index. Experts recommend a maximum of two-hours a day of screen time for children.
