Key Races To Watch On Election Day In Ny

11.04.13 | Bob Price

Voters in Albany and Binghamton will elect new mayors tomorrow. Albany will get its first new mayor in 20 years as incumbent Jerry Jennings leaves office. In Binghamton, Republican Rich David and Democrat Teri Rennia are running for the seat left vacant by the exit of two-term Mayor Matt Ryan. Rochester City Council President Lovely Warren is running to become that city's first female mayor after scoring an upset victory over Mayor Tom Richards in the Democratic primary. Republicans do not have a candidate on the ballot in Rochester.  And in Buffalo and Syracuse, incumbent mayors are seeking re-election and are expected to coast to easy victories.
