TLC's hit reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is taking a break. The "Los Angeles Times" is reporting that TLC has decided to put the show on hiatus until August 3rd. Six of the season's 40 episodes have aired, but the couple's recent relationship issues have made it difficult for TLC to gather footage for future shows. A TLC spokeswoman says the break will give the Gosselin family "some time off to regroup." In April, Jon and Kate's marriage became the center of media attention when Jon was spotted with another woman. The couple has denied allegations of infidelity, but on Monday's episode they announced that they had filed for divorce. According to "Entertainment Weekly," Monday night's episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" drew ten-point-six million viewers. It was the largest audience ever for the TLC show. Next week, TLC will air a retrospectvie of Jon and Kate Gosselin's ten years of marriage. After that, the show will go on hiatus until August.
