Jobless New Yorkers are getting some bad news - right before Christmas. A new report released by The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations shows that 126,000 people in New York are going to lose their unemployment benefits by December 31st. The group says that the unemployment rate for those from 20-24  years of age is 13.8 %. For African-Americans, it's 14.5 % and Latinos hold an 11.8% jobless rate. The benefits will run out as many unemployed New Yorkers are already struggling to pay their rent and heating bills.
