According to Kelly's Blue Book, now is the best time to buy a new car. On average, consumers are paying $500 less for a new vehicle today compared to just one year ago. Why? Dealers are now overstocked again, with Japan shooting out cars once more after their factories are back up and running following the tsunami. The average Honda model is selling for nearly $1,200 less than this time last year, and a Subaru, Mazda or Toyota is approximately $700 to $800 more affordable.
