Is Governor Cuomo Fixing Ny Schools

It appears New Yorkers are pretty mixed when it comes to whether or not Governor Andrew Cuomo is improving schools in the Empire State. A new Siena Research Institute poll found just 22 percent of respondents believe Cuomo's work has improved public education, while 27 percent say it has become more of a problem. Forty-five percent of respondents think Cuomo's work has had no effect on education. The poll also found half of respondents believe New York's new teacher-evaluation system will improve education, and 57-percent think it is a fair agreement for teachers.
