(New York, NY)  --  Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad denies he's trying to build a nuclear weapon.  The hard-line leader made the statement in a contentious interview on "Larry King Live" on CNN. The Iranian leader then called for nuclear disarmament by the U.S. and Israel.  Ahmadinejad labeled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "a skilled killer" and accused him of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Ahmadinejad said he's willing to meet with President Obama, but in a very public way at the UN General Assembly.  Asked about two American hikers held captive in Iran, he said their fate is up to a judge.  He said the same thing about a woman who reportedly is to be stoned.  Ahmadinejad said she murdered her husband, but final sentence hasn't been passed.  He claimed the German media made up the story about the woman being stoned.
