Housing Help Is On The Way For Ny Pa Flood Victims

F.E.M.A. is sending emergency housing to flood victims in Central New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. Cobleskill, New York-- in the Oneonta area-- will be the staging center for aid in the Empire state. In Pennsylvania, hundreds of vinyl-sided trailors will be set up near Harrisburg, then shipped out to the counties impacted by the storm.  It's not clear yet exactly how many will be available, or when they will be distributed. We can tell you each unit comes furnished with a main living area, a stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a storage room with washer and dryer hookups. And families can stay in the home for up to 18-months.
