Houghton College in Western new York is offering to pay the loans back of incoming students if they don’t make a certain salary after graduation. The Christian liberal arts school in Alleghany county is the first and only college in the eastern United States to offer a Loan Repayment Assistance Program to all incoming first-year students starting next year.  It’s designed to assist or completely repay a student’s loans after graduation if that student earns less than 38-thousand dollars a year. A student must meet some basic requirements to qualify. They must graduate from Houghton, be working a job that averages at least 30 hours a week and be employed within the United States.
