07.16.12 | Sarah Harnisch

We could be breaking more heat records this week in New York and Pennsylvania. The first half of July was just a warm-up. Tuesday's high could hit 95. The record for July 17th in Rochester was 95, set in 1900. The National Weather Service says so far this month, it's been more typical of tropical climates, especially the humidity this past weekend. 5 days of the last 14, we've had highs above 90. We've also logged the hottest 6 months of the year since weather tracking began. By Wednesday, a cold front comes in to cool things off.
