More police officers are taking aim at the strict new gun control measures in New York. Steuben County Sheriff David Cole says there's no way his deputies can enforce the law. The Deputies Association of Steuben County says the S.A.F.E. Act goes against people's Second Amendment rights. The Sheriff says violence happens wih illegally possessed firearms, not legally registered weapons in the hands of law abiding citizens. Yesterday, the state activated a hotline for people to call who have questions about how the SAFE Act works. The number is 855-LAW-GUNS (1-855-529-4867)

New York State has also launched a SAFE Act website. To find that, go here.
