Governor Cuomo Signs Tax Cap Bill

Governor Andrew Cuomo passed another major bill today -- property tax cap for New York State. He signed the legislation around 1:30pm at a special ceremony in Westchester County -- the county with the highest property taxes in the country.

The tax cap was a hallmark of Cuomo's campaign when he ran for governor last year, and he's made good on his promise. A recent Quinnipiac poll shows that Cuomo's approval rating is 67%. That's 20 points higher than New Jersey governor Chris Christie. Right now, Cuomo is the most popular governor in the polls.
