Gas Prices To Spike In Ny Pa Over The Labor Day Weekend Fill Up Now

The storm is impacting gas prices in New York and Pennsylvania. Patrick Delhan with Gasbuddy.com, and he says prices could stay high longer if there's a severe impact on oil production in the Gulf. He says "346 refineries have been shut or have had their rigs reduced, and it will depend on how quickly those facilities can get back online. He says he doesn't expect any relief until the third week of September.  Wholesale gas prices jumped by 19 cents per gallon so far. Experts are expecting gas prices to rise another between five cents to 15 cents per gallon over the next several days as Labor day weekend moves closer. It means gas could break a record for the Labor Day weekend. New york is at $3.99 for a gallon of regular gas. Pennsylvania is at $3.78.
