Gas Prices Are Rising Earlier Then Usual

They are up 13 cents nationally in the last 2 weeks, to 3-42 a gallon. In New York, it's $3.82 a gallon, 40 cents above the national average. In Pennsylvania, it's $3.60 a gallon, almost 20 cents above the national average. That means within a few days, if prices keep rising, we'll likely set a record for February. Experts say rising crude prices, slowing output at refineries, and low supplies of gasoline are affecting the cost. Prices are pushed higher ever spring, just not usually this early in the year.
