Every Presidential Conservative Candidate Asked To Sign Pro Traditional Marriage Vow

Every G.O.P. candidate in the presidential election for 2012 is being asked to sign a marriage vow -- a promise that they stand for traditional marriage.

The Family Leader, an influential pro-family group out of Iowa will ask the candidates to sign a pledge that professes everything from marital fidelity to embracing a federal pro-traditional marriage amendment. It's called "The Marriage Vow: A Declaration of Dependence Upon Marriage and Family." It has 14 points.

The hope is that each candidate will take a public stance on where they stand on marriage before they take office. In fact, several prominent Republicans have said they will not even endorse any candidate they doesn't support the pledge.
