Evangelist Hitting School Bus Stops Is Taken To Court In Pa

A Pennsylvania school district is taking a street preacher to court for approaching kids at a bus stop. A Dauphin County  judge is weighing the case of Stephen Garisto. Garisto says he has a constitutional right to evangelize to middle and high school students. In a court hearing last week, the judge said, quote "You're not Mr. Rogers. We tell our kids not to talk to strangers." The school district has moved the bus stop several times because of Garisto-- and a judge already fined him for disorderly conduct. His lawyer says he just wants to be a good neighbor and share his faith with those around him. Parents say he needs to ask their permission before he does something like that.
