Drugmakers Will Not Have To Pay Damages From Their Vaccines

There has been a major ruling on the side effects of giving kids vaccinations... and the case stems from Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court ruled that the parents of a Pennsylvania child who suffered seizures after being vaccinated cannot sue the drugmaker. They backed a 1986 federal prohibiting lawsuits against drugmakers over childhood vaccination side effects. The parents of 19-year-old Hannah Bruesewitz say she began suffering seizures after receiving a D.P.T. vaccine made by Pfizer when she was 6 months old. Hannah now requires a lifetime of supervision and care. The court ruled there is a tax set aside to compensate kids harmed by vaccines-- and the drug companies do not have to pay anything extra.
