Donations Being Accepted For Wilson Ny Family In House Explosion

07.25.12 | Sarah Harnisch

All night long, people showed up to the debris field of a house outside the town of Wilson, New York to pay their respects to a family of seven whose house exploded at dawn yesterday morning. Two of the youngest kids were not home a the time of the blast; a 19 year old daughter is in a burn unit in critical condition this morning, both parents and a 16 year old son were blown from the house but are in fair condition, and 14 year old, Sarah Johnson, was killed. Investigators say they believe the cause was a leaky propane tank.
A Johnson Family Benefit Fund has also been set up at the First Niagara Branch in Wilson, but donations will be accepted at any First Niagara Branch.

Two churches are accepting clothing donations to help the family.
